A feeding mechanical hand can sort batteries, to be welded on a feeding process line, to a welding jig; a welding head andthe welding jig are moved to a welding station to complete the welding; after the welding is completed, a welding discharging mechanism sorts the batteries to a bearing platform and the appearance detection is completed at an appearance detection station so as to determine whether there are defects such as explosion points and intermittent welding; further, the batteries subjuected to the appearance detection are sorted to a roller press by a detection discharging mechanism to realize flanging and flattening; the batteries subjected to roller pressing are sorted to a detection jig by a rollerpress discharging mechanism and whether the flanging thickness of the batteries is qualified is detected through a contour detector; finally, the batteries which has been welded and are qualified in appearance detection and contour detection can be sorted to a good-product discharging process line by a discharing mechanical hand, and the other batteries are sorted to a waste-product discharging process line. Since the above welding, appearance detection, roller pressing and contour detection are all completed automatically, the welding efficiency of top covers of the batteries is improved effectively.
