Abstract

The technical scheme is theapplication of the rice OsRacD gene in increasing the rice panicle length, and the nucleotide sequence of the rice OsRacD gene is as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. The application includes first constructingan RNA interference plant expression vector of the rice OsRacD gene, transforming the vector to rice callus in the agrobacterium-mediated method, conducting induced differentiation to form regenerated rice plants, then conducting successive generation screening till T2 generation OsRacD gene RNA interference transgenic rice is obtained. According to the application, the OsRacD gene RNA interference plant vector is constructed, and the agrobacterium-mediated method is adopted to transform the rice callus to obtain the T2 generation OsRacD gene RNA interference transgenic rice. The agronomic statistics show that the transgenic rice panicle length is increased by 7.22%-7.51% compared with the contrast, and the difference reached a significant level.
