Abstract

The invention provides a high yield and high efficiency summer sowing intercropping method of millet and peanuts. The method is characterized in that the row ratio of summer sowing of the millet and the peanuts is 2 to 2; flat planting is carried out on the millet, ridge planting is carried out on the peanuts, and the heights of peanut ridges are 10cm; the row spacing of the millet is 40cm, and the plant spacing of the millet is 3.3cm; the width of the peanut ridges are 85cm, and hill spacing of the peanut ridges is 15cm; the distances between millet rows and the peanut ridges are 30cm; the total bandwidth of the millet rows and the peanut ridges is 1.85m; the theoretical density of the millet is 50000 plants per mu, and the theoretical density of the peanuts is 10000 plants per mu. The method provides the row ratio, the row spacing, the plant spacing and the ridge distances of the millet and the peanuts, thus being convenient to operate. After the method is used for planting, the high total yield and high total economic benefit can be obtained. The millet planted by using the method has remarkably improved weigh of seed per panicle and increased stem diameter and panicle length. The method improves the yield trait and biological characters of the millet, improves the lodging resistance of the millet, is beneficial to high and stable production and is good for stabilization of quality.
