Problems solved by technology

However, the above method requires a certain amount of time for the back-end hardware device to process the original image data.
In addition, due to cost constraints, some back-end hardware devices cannot receive images with too high a frame rate, and accordingly, cannot process the original image data to obtain binarized data

Abstract

The invention relates to a binary data output method of an image sensor, which divides a pixel array of the image sensor into a plurality of sub-pixel arrays, performs median filtering on the originalimage data acquired by the sub-pixel arrays, and determines the gray value of each pixel; Then, the region binarization threshold of each sub-pixel array is calculated by using the gray value of eachpixel. The pixels of each sub-pixel array determine their pixel binarization thresholds according to the region binarization thresholds of their reference sub-pixel arrays and the distance of the pixels from the center point of the reference sub-pixel array. As that binarization threshold value of the corresponding pixels are calculate for each pixel, the binarization data output by the image sensor has higher accuracy, the application range of the image sensor is expanded, and the binarization data acquisition efficiency is high.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of image sensors, in particular to a binarized data output method of an image sensor. Background technique [0002] A CMOS image sensor is a semiconductor device that converts an optical image into an electrical signal by using the photoelectric effect. Due to its simple structure and high reliability, it has been widely used in many fields. Such as smartphones, tablet computers, automobiles, security monitoring, industrial cameras and machine vision, etc. [0003] In some applications (such as code scanning), the binarized image data is required. For such requirements, the existing technology first obtains and stores original image data through an image sensor; then, the back-end hardware device processes the original image data to obtain binarized data. However, in the above method, the back-end hardware device needs to consume a certain amount of time when processing the original image data. In additio...
