The breaker contact performance monitoring method comprises the following steps of: receiving real-time voltage, acquired by a voltage acquisition device at the current moment, of a wire-in end and a wire-out end at two ends ofa breaker contact; calculating a difference value between the real-time voltage at the current moment and expected voltage at the current moment, and when the difference value is greater than a presetfirst threshold value, determining the current time as an arcing start moment, wherein the expected voltage is determined through a preset voltage calculation manner; continuously calculating and recording real-time voltage changes of adjacent moments, determining a real-time voltage change of each adjacent moment, and if the real-time voltage change rates of continuous preset times of adjacent moments are smaller than a preset second threshold value, determining the current moment as an arcing stop moment; and determining arcing times and deducing health performance of the breaker contact according to each arcing time.
