Abstract

The invention relates to an extinguishing gas filtering device and an electric current switchgear comprising such a filtering device. The extinguishing gas filtering device for the electric current switchgear with separable contacts, including an electric arc extinguishing chamber, includes, assembled together an inlet part 52 for the extinguishing gases, made of a metal material and including aninlet aperture 60 intended to be fluidically connected with an extinguishing gas outlet of the switchgear; an outlet aperture 66; a flared wall 62, 64, 72 extending between the inlet and outlet apertures; a gas diffuser 54, which covers the outlet aperture, being planar in shape and including through-apertures; and a filter 56 made of porous metal foam, placed at the output of the gas diffuser.

Description

technical field The invention relates to an extinguishing gas filter device for a current switchgear. The invention also relates to a current switching device comprising such a filter device. Background technique Electrical units such as circuit breakers or contactors are known and make it possible to selectively interrupt the flow of current in an electrical circuit, for example in a distribution network for domestic or industrial use. The switching device includes separable electrical contacts connected to input and output terminals for electrical current. The electrical contacts are selectively movable between a closed position, in which they allow electrical current to flow between the terminals, and an open position, in which they are separated from each other to prevent the electrical current from flowing. It is particularly known that an electric arc may form between two electrical contacts when a current flows therein and these electrical contacts move into their...
