Abstract

The invention discloses a sound wave propagation demonstrator, which includes a main shell and a loop buckle. Tympanic membranes are installed on both sides of the main shell respectively. A belt is installed on the front of the main shell. Threaded rods are arranged at both ends of the belt. A drum mallet is arranged in the middle of the loop buckle, and the loop buckle is located on the left side of the belt. A storage mechanism is installed to the side of the main shell. A rainbow ring is arranged on the right side of the belt. A fixing mechanism is installed at the end of the rainbow ring. The sound wave propagation demonstrator is equipped with the storage mechanism and the fixing mechanism. Rice grains and a candle needed for experimental demonstration can be placed in the storage mechanism. The rice grains are placed on the tympanic membranes, and the tympanic membranes can be struck to demonstrate that sound is generated by the vibration of objects. After the candle is placed right in front of the tympanic membranes and lighted with a lighter, we can see that the candle flame flutters regularly according to the sound of the drum. The experiment indicates that sound can transmit energy, and students can understand the sound wave more easily. The fixing mechanism is installed on a wall, so that students in the distance can clearly see the demonstration process of the demonstrator.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of teaching demonstration, and is specifically a sound wave propagation demonstrator. Background technique [0002] The propagation of the vibration generated by the sounding body in the air or other materials is called sound waves. The sound waves propagate in all directions through various media. The sound waves are usually longitudinal waves and transverse waves. The particles where the sound waves travel are vibrating near the equilibrium position along the propagation direction. The propagation of sound waves is essentially the transmission of energy in the medium. Sound waves are the propagation form of sound. The object that emits sound is called the sound source. Sound waves are mechanical waves generated by the vibration of the sound source. The space where the sound waves propagate is called the sound field. [0003] Sound waves are invisible, intangible, but objectively existing things. When teachers tal...
