Abstract

The invention relates to the field of an AC generator, and particularly to a testing device for airtightness of an AC generator and a testing method thereof. The testing device comprises a pressure meter for displaying an inner oil pressure, an upper pressing board and a lower pressing board which are used for realizing inner sealing and match each other. The upper pressing board and the lower pressing board are respectively provided with an upper sealing member and a lower sealing member for realizing single-surface sealing. The upper pressing board is provided with a connecting rod which isconnected with a rotor assembly, and a connecting assembly which matches the pressure meter and the rotor assembly. The testing method of the testing device for the airtightness of the AC generator rotor comprises the following steps of (1), connecting; (2), supplying oil; and (3), performing comparison. The rotor assembly is sealed by means of the upper pressing board and the lower pressing board. Through an inner chamber fixed oil pressure which is supplied to the AC generator by an airtightness testing platform, the inner chamber pressure change along with time is checked, and whether non-tight sealing of the external surface occurs is determined, thereby effectively improving working efficiency, reducing reworking proportion and ensuring high mending quality of products.
