The location information reporting method provides a scheme of transmitting the relative location information in order to improve the location capacity of a cell and reduce the resource occupied by the location information so as to achieve the purpose of compressing the transmission data quantity, which well solves the problem in the prior art that the network resource consumption is too large during location information transmission.
