Abstract

The invention discloses application of myricetin and a derivative thereof in preparing a drug for resisting zika virus. An experiment verifies that the myricetin has obvious anti-zika virus activity,is capable of obviously inhibiting a plaque effect generated by zika virus infection, mRNA (messenger Ribonucleic Acid) and protein expression level and the activity of NS2B-NS3 protease and acts on azika virus entry stage, and a 100 percent inhibition effect can be achieved. The toxicity of the myricetin to cells is smaller, and the myricetin basically has no toxicity on Vero cells within a concentration range of 0 to 50 muM. IC50 of the myricetin to the zika virus is 0.576+ / -0.173 muM, and the safety index is greater than 100. According to the application disclosed by the invention, new application of the myricetin is developed, the economic value of the myricetin is increased, and theoretical and practical basis is provided for the application of the myricetin in preparing the drug forresisting the zika virus.
