Abstract

The invention provides a hollow cathode heater with a heat preservation function. A heat shield component is integrated outside a heater component of a hollow cathode; a cavity between an outer sleeveand an inner sleeve is divided into two sub-cavities; heat preservation materials are filled in the sub-cavities; and sealing of the heat shield component is achieved by a bottom plate and a top cover at the two ends of the sleeves. Axial and radial radiation heat of a hollow cathode is effectively reflected step by step by arranging different thermal insulation layers, so that the heat conduction area of the hollow cathode is reduced; the heat efficiency of the heater component of the hollow cathode can be improved; and the discharge voltage of the hollow cathode during self-maintained discharge can be reduced. In addition, a contact holding pole and the heater component of the hollow cathode are respectively mounted inside and outside the heat shield component, so that an insulation distance between the contact holding pole and the heater component of the hollow cathode is increased; a discharge phenomenon generated due to a too close distance of the contact holding pole and the heater component can be prevented; and the structural complexity of the contact holding pole of the hollow cathode can be effectively reduced.
