Abstract

The invention discloses an optical fiber sensor based on a splitting-ratio-adjustable Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The optical fiber sensor comprises incoming optical fibers, a beam splitter, a modulation arm, a beam combiner and outgoing optical fibers and is characterized in that the incoming optical fibers are used for inputting optical signals, the beam splitter allows the optical signals entering from the incoming optical fibers to be coupled into the modulation arm, and the modulation arm is used for forming transmission waveguide to screen different optical wave transmission modes; thebeam combiner allows the optical signals entering from the modulation arm to be coupled into the outgoing optical fibers; the outgoing optical fibers are used for outputting the optical signals and transmitting the optical signals into detecting equipment. The optical fiber sensor has the advantages that multi-mode optical fibers forming the beam splitter / beam combiner are subjected cladding removing, the surfaces of the processed multi-mode optical fibers are coated with graphene oxide films, and splitting ratio modulation of the beam splitter / beam combiner is achieved by utilizing the interaction of the multi-mode optical fiber cores and ambient environments so as to achieve sensing.
