Abstract

The positioning method comprises the following steps: putting a marker on the target object, wherein an upper plane of the marker comprises a large circle coincident to the center of a to-be-grabbed object by a mechanical arm and two small circles with a known distance; coating graphs of the small and large circles with colors different from those of surrounding equipment; taking a positioning picture of the marker downward by an industrial camera at fixed position and height;calculating the separating distance of any two pixels in the picture by dividing the known distance of the two small circles by number of pixels between the center of circles of the two small circlesand calculating the pixel coordinate value at the center of circle of the large circle; and multiplying the coordinate value by the separating distance of the two pixel points to obtain the actual distance from the center of circle of the large circle to the origin of a coordinate system so as to obtain X-axis and Y-axis distance values of a position where the object is grabbed by a mechanical arm.
