The system comprises a steering wheel angle sensor, a front side camera, a rear side camera, a left side camera, a right side camera, a vehicle controller, a voice broadcasting module, a left front lamp relay, a right front lamp relay, a left rear lamp relay, a right rear lamp relay, and a vehicle power supply. The method comprises the following steps: through transmitting an automobile own turning angle measured by the steering wheel angle sensor and images collected by the cameras to the vehicle controller, processing the collected images by using a monocular sighting distance method; and according to data processed by the vehicle controller, judging whether to perform voice broadcast and open a steering lamp. The system is capable of more specifically listing multiple conditions that a vehicle opens the steering lamp, and pre-warning in time; avoiding a situation that a steering wheel angle is changed while the vehicle does not change a lane; and suitable for multiple vehicle models, convenient for operating and using, and capable of avoiding a situation that a driver forgets opening the steering lamp, and improving drive safety.
