Embodiment Construction

[0032] Figures 3 to 5 A miter saw is shown with a head 7 mounted pivotably above a workpiece support 8, which carries a saw blade 11 together with a blade guard 10 and as in particular Figure 5The shown is equipped with a handle in order to pivot the saw blade 11 from the upper saw blade position / rest position into the lower saw blade position / working position and back.

[0033] The head 7 is hinged here on a support, not shown in more detail, which connects the head 7 to a frame, which is rotatable in the form of a turntable relative to two sections of the workpiece support 8, so that This enables chamfering to be produced.

[0034] When the saw blade 11 is lowered, that is to say when the handpiece 7 is pivoted downwards, the saw blade guard 10 which covers the saw blade 11 at least as far as possible in the rest position must be opened in order to be able to saw through the workpiece. When the saw blade 11 is raised again following the sawing process, that is to say whe...

Abstract

The invention relates to a saw, comprising: a machine head carrying a saw blade and a saw blade cover; a workpiece support; and a holder. The machine head is received pivotably between an upper saw blade position and an opposite lower saw blade position. The saw blade cover has a plurality of segments which are mounted on the machine head so as to be telescopable in and out, and which are telescoped out in the upper saw blade position as a saw blade protection and are telescoped in the lower saw blade position in order to release the saw blade for sawing. The saw is provided with a linkage connecting the holder and the saw blade cover. The linkage pushes the segments of the saw blade cover together when the machine head is pressed down. A number of luminaires are provided which are connected to a voltage source via a switch. The saw is characterized in that the switch is mounted above and/or below the linkage on the holder so that it is actuated by the linkage when the machine head ispushed down from the upper saw blade position; and the number of luminaires are connected via the switch to the voltage source when the machine head is pushed down from the upper saw blade position.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a saw machine according to the preamble of claim 1 , in particular a cutting saw, a straight cut saw, a miter saw or a straight cut-miter saw. Background technique [0002] It is known in panel saws to warn against a rotating pre-saw blade instead of simple markings by means of lights, see for example European patent application EP 2 210 722 A2. [0003] German patent application DE 10 2008 054 698 A1 discloses a signaling device equipped with LEDs on a circular saw, which signals whether a sensor is reacting sensitively, which detects whether the operator's body part has Get dangerously close to the saw blade. [0004] US patent application US 2014 / 0130643 A shows a circular saw in which there are different light sources, namely a transceiver on the one hand and a laser on the other hand, which are intended to detect whether a workpiece has reached the region of the saw blade. Independently of the two light sources, there is...
