The method comprises steps of obtaining the parameters of the doubly-fed wind-driven generator unit and the operating parameters prior to a fault; when the AC grid has a fault and generates an active power surplus, adjusting and controlling the doubly-fed wind-driven generator unit, switching the doubly-fed wind-driven generator unit in sub-synchronous operation from a power generation state to an electrically driven state to consume the surplus active power of the AC grid to achieve the balance of the active power of the AC grid. The method can quickly switch the doubly-fed wind-driven generator unit from the power generation state to the electrically driven state when the AC grid has an active power surplus, thereby achieving a rapid balance of the surplus active power of the grid.
