Abstract

The present disclosure relates to reference signaling in mobile communication, and relates to transmitting and receiving an uplink reference signal in a multi-carrier system by adjusting the subcarrier frequency spacing of a reference unit used to transmit the reference signal. The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding device and a computer program for carrying out the various proposed methods, as well as a carrier containing said computer program. This disclosure proposes a method for a wireless device to transmit a reference signal. The method includes receiving information indicating frequency subcarrier spacing, determining a reference signal sequence based on the received information, and transmitting the reference signal to a network node. The present disclosure also proposes a method for a network node to receive a reference signal by acquiring information indicating frequency subcarrier spacing, transmitting the acquired information to a wireless device, and receiving the reference signal from the wireless device.
