Abstract

The invention discloses an aircraft thick skin end face feature point extraction and denoising method based on laser scanning. The method is characterized by firstly scanning the side surface of a thick skin; extracting feature points through the distances from the points to the plane, solving the neighborhood of the boundary feature points according to the Euclidean distances from other points inthe point cloud to the boundary feature points, denoising the sharp features and the boundary feature points at the short edges of the end faces, and finally re-extracting the missing feature pointsat the sharp features. The method has the advantages that (1) compared with a method for extracting feature points through a single scanning line, the feature points extracted through the method are better in stability and higher in precision, (2) for skin end faces of different shapes, the method can obtain better feature points and provide accurate data for end face fitting, and (3) the method is convenient to use and higher in efficiency.
