Abstract

The invention provides novel application of bionectria ochroleuca. The bionectria ochroleuca is adopted to prevent and treat a mosquito vector. The invention furthermore provides a method for preventing and treating the mosquito vector by using the bionectria ochroleuca. The method comprises the following steps: 1) culturing bionectria ochroleuca by using a potato glucose agar culture medium at aculture temperature of 20-22 DEG C so as to obtain bionectria ochroleuca spores; 2) collecting the bionectria ochroleuca spores obtained in the step 1), and mixing the bionectria ochroleuca spores with a carrier so as to obtain a bionectria ochroleuca spore preparation; and 3) putting the bionectria ochroleuca spore preparation into a water body with mosquitoes, so as to complete prevention and treatment on the mosquito vector. The novel application has the characteristics of being good in mosquito prevention and treatment effect, simple in prevention and treatment method, and the like.
