Embodiment Construction

[0045] figure 1 A top view of the separator plate 100 is shown. In a fuel cell stack, generally hundreds of separator plates 100 are stacked to form a fuel cell stack. In this case, the individual separator plates 100 are compressed in order to achieve the required density of the individual cells or fuel cell stacks.

[0046] The separator plate 100 comprises a plurality of medium feed elements 211 , 221 , 231 through which the medium (generally fuel, oxidant and coolant) flows in. figure 1 Also shown is a predistributor 222 which distributes the medium to the individual channels of the flow field 223 . After the electrochemical reaction, the medium is discharged again via the medium discharge 224 into the medium outlet 225 . Furthermore, two further media ports 215 , 235 can be seen here. The aforementioned regions for conducting the medium together form the inner region 200 for carrying the medium, which is sealed or sealable here by means of the seal or outer seal 120 w...

Abstract

The invention relates to a separator plate (100) for at least one fuel cell of a fuel cell system. The separator plate (100) comprises at least one seal (120), wherein the seal (120) is designed to seal at least one media-conducting inner region (200) from a non-media-conducting outer region (132 and 134). The separator plate (100) additionally comprises at least one spacer element (140), which ispreferably arranged in the outer region (132). The separator plate (100) can be contacted by an evaluating device in a contacting region (110), this region being located such that it lies, in part, between the seal (120) and spacer element (140). According to the invention, a deformation of the separator plate in the contacting region within a fuel cell stack is thus prevented.

Description

technical field [0001] The technology disclosed herein relates to a separator plate for at least one fuel cell of a fuel cell system. Furthermore, the technology disclosed here relates to a fuel cell system having at least one such separator plate. Background technique [0002] Such fuel cell systems are known. The fuel cell system usually includes several hundred separator plates, which are connected to the battery monitoring unit via contacting areas. In previously known solutions, there is an undesired risk of bending the contacting regions of the separator plates when stacking the fuel cells. This may result in ultimately no or incomplete contact with the via separator plate. Contents of the invention [0003] A preferred object of the technology disclosed here is to reduce or eliminate at least one disadvantage of previously known solutions or to propose an alternative solution. A preferred object of the technology disclosed here is in particular to improve the el...
