Problems solved by technology

These studies did not combine objective EEG testing with subjective psychophysical testing, and there was no exact correlation between stimulus parameters and visual functional status
In addition, traditional checkerboard and raster SSVEP or PVEP paradigms are more likely to cause visual fatigue, resulting in reduced signal quality

Embodiment Construction

[0024] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0025] A visual acuity detection method based on motor visual evoked potentials, comprising the following steps:

[0026] 1) Concentric ring stimulation paradigm: Using the most practical method of SSMVEP in the brain-computer interface, use Psychophysics Toolbox programming to draw the periodic contraction and expansion movement of the paradigm pattern texture through MATLAB, which can stably stimulate SSMVEP; refer to figure 1 , the moving stimulus target appears as a light and dark concentric ring, and the distance between the bright area and the dark area is equal; during the stimulus presentation process, the overall brightness and overall size of the paradigm remain unchanged; the phase of the ring contracts and expands in a sinusoidal manner, where:

Abstract

A visual acuity detection method based on motion visual evoked potential comprises: designing a concentric ring stimulating paradigm, designing a stimulating paradigm spatial frequency gradient, setting up a brain-computer interface platform, displaying the stimulating paradigms, performing visual acuity threshold judgment on electroencephalogram results, and feeding back visual acuity detection results. The concentric ring SSMVEP (steady-state motion visual evoked potential) paradigm for visual acuity examination is designed herein; corresponding threshold judging standards are provided; so that objective visual acuity of electroencephalogram is attained. The objective quantitative measuring method is provided for visual acuity detection in ophthalmic testing.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of brain-computer interface and ophthalmic optical examination, in particular to a visual acuity detection method based on motor visual evoked potential. Background technique [0002] According to the World Health Organization, 253 million people worldwide are visually impaired, and this number is likely to triple due to population growth and ageing, and visual acuity testing is one of the most fundamental research tasks in ophthalmology. Common visual acuity tests rely on the subject's subjective feelings and cooperation, such as the letter visual acuity scale and the rolling E visual acuity scale. People with communication problems, such as prelingual children or young children, are not suitable for visual acuity assessment by this type of method; adults may also be affected by environmental factors and cause misjudgment; false reporting by the identified person cannot be ruled out in forensic testing wit...
