Abstract

The invention discloses an intersection traffic rule automatic identification method and belongs to the technical field of intelligent traffic. The method comprises the following steps that: S01, the track points of the change of the running directions of vehicles are determined according to running tracks formed by the vehicle track data points of each vehicle which are sequenced according to time on the basis of each vehicle ID; S02, the difference values of the track points and vehicle track data points which are formed before the change of the running directions are calculated, track points which are vehicle track data points of intersection turning are determined and reserved; S03, the vehicle track data points of intersection turning are clustered, and traffic intersections and the types of the intersections are identified; S04, the number of left-turning vehicle track data points, the number of right-turning vehicle track data points and the number of tuning-around vehicle track data points at put into statistics for each intersection, and whether the traffic rules of the intersections are left-turning-forbidding traffic rules, right-turning-forbidding traffic rules and tuning-around-forbidding traffic rules are judged. With the intersection traffic rule automatic identification method of the invention adopted, all intersections and the control information of the intersections can be automatically identified; real-time accurate and safe navigation application requirements are provided for automatic unmanned driving; traffic congestion is avoided; pollution is reduced; and the environment is protected.
