The method comprises a step of obtaining current ambient pressureif that the vehicle operates in a high altitude environment is detected, a step of determining a target electric pile cathode air pressure range, a target electric pile anode hydrogen pressure range,a target air compressor speed range and a target system output power range corresponding to the current environmental pressure according to a plateau environmental operation strategy generated based on a preset electric stack cathode standard operation condition in advance, and a step of controlling the operation of the fuel cell system according to the target electric pile cathode air pressure range, the target electric pile anode hydrogen pressure range, the target air compressor speed range and the target system output power range. Based on the method disclosed by the invention, the operating conditions of an air path and a hydrogen path of the fuel cell system in the plateau environment can be determined to ensure an optimal output capability, and at the same time, the safety and stability of the use of the electric pile and an air compressor can be ensured, and the method is fast, offline, reliable and efficient.
