Abstract

The invention provides a traffic flow prediction method and device. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring historical traffic flow data of a plurality of first entrance lanes corresponding to an intersection to be predicted; correcting the historical traffic flow data of a second entrance lane corresponding to the intersection to be predicted according to historical traffic flow data of each first entrance lane, and acquiring the coerced historical traffic flow data of the second entrance lane; and according to the corrected historical traffic flow data of the second entrance lane and the historical traffic flow data of each first entrance lane, predicting the traffic flow of the intersection to be predicted by utilizing a pre-trained multilayer circulation neural network model. The method disclosed by the embodiment of the invention improves the accuracy of traffic flow prediction.
