Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a vehicle steering angle measuring system and method and aims at solving the problem that in the prior art, steering angle computing precision is relatively low. The system comprises a first MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) gyroscope which isarranged on a front wheel of a vehicle,a second MEMS gyroscope which is arrangedin a vehicle cab,a double-antenna GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) vector receiver and an embedded controller arrangedin the cable, wherein antennas of the double-antenna GNSS vector receiver are arranged on the top of the vehicle and are placed front and back. The first MEMS gyroscope is used for obtaining first steering information of the vehicle. The second MEMS gyroscope is used for obtaining second steering information of the vehicle. The double-antenna GNSS vector receiver is used for obtaining movement information of the vehicle through utilization of the antennas. The embedded controller is used for correcting the first steering information according to the second steering information and the movement information, obtaining corrected target steering information and generating steering angle informationaccording to the target steering information and the movement information. The system and the method can be applied to the field of agricultural machinery automation.
