Abstract

The invention provides a flyback converter and a control method thereof. The flyback converter comprises: a transformer which comprises a primary winding and a secondary winding; a switching tube coupled between the primary winding and a first node; a feedback circuit used for detecting the output voltage of a load and outputting a feedback voltage signal; a current sampling circuit coupled between the first node and a primary side grounding end and outputting a current sampling signal; and a control circuit coupled to the feedback circuit and the current sampling circuit, and used to receivethe feedback voltage signal and the current sampling signal respectively, output a switching tube control signal, and control the derivative of the switching frequency of the switching tube to the output power to be reduced along with the increase of the switching frequency when the switching frequency of the switching tube is greater than or equal to a threshold value. According to the flyback converter provided by the invention, the light load efficiency and the noise performance can be improved at the same time.
