The invention discloses an SOC and SOH joint estimation method, which comprises the following steps: obtaining a training sample set by using data measured by an experiment, wherein each training sample in the training sample set comprises average SOC, environment temperature, current, accumulated charge quantity and corresponding SOH; training a BP neural network to estimate SOH based on the training sample set; and estimating the SOC by using the UKF algorithm every first preset time based on the present SOH, and when the total time reaches second preset time, estimating the SOH by using theneural network on the basis of the environment temperature and current acquired by the current sensor and the SOC and accumulated charge quantity acquired by the SOC estimation algorithm, thereby realizing the joint estimation of the SOC and the SOH.
