Abstract

The invention discloses a novel anchor chain manufacturing process. Manufacturing of a novel anchor chain is achieved through a prestressed steel wire winding technology. The process comprises the steps: material preparation, anchor chain framework manufacturing, high-strength steel wire winding, anchor chain glue sealing, inspection, and warehousing. As the allowable stress of a high-strength steel wire reaches 1960-3135 MPa, compared with a traditional anchor chain, the steel wire wound anchor chain has the advantages of light weight, good fatigue resistance, small storage space and the like. The glue-sealed anchor chain has the advantages of good corrosion resistance, small ocean current resistance, low storage noise and the like. In view of the above-mentioned advantages, the anchor chain wound with a prestressed steel wire can be more deeply applied in ocean navigation and mine engineering.
