The silt loss preventing device comprises a river channel, wherein a silt conveying device for intercepting andconveying silt is arranged in the river channel; a flow control device positioned on the lower side of a filter screen is arranged in the river channel; the flow control device can adjust the silt conveying amount according to the water flow speed; and a storage device for storing redundant silt is arranged on the right side of the river channel. According to the silt loss preventing device, the silt in the river channel is intercepted through the intercepting filter screen arranged on the river channel, meanwhile, a water turbine positioned on the upstream of the intercepting filter screen drives a conveying mechanism to convey the intercepted silt into a conveying channel, water flow containing the silt is guided into a downstream farmland to be improved through the conveying channel, and therefore water and soil loss in the river channel is intercepted and guided, and the downstream farmland can be irrigated and improved; and meanwhile, a flow adjusting mechanism can automatically adjust the water conveying amount of the conveying channel according to the rainfall, the drought condition of the downstream farmland can be relieved, and the downstream flood disaster can be reduced.
