The waterproof expansion joint structure comprises two end steel plates connected with main body concrete structures on the both sides separately; the respective opposite side faces of the two end steel plates are provided with latch steel plates at intervals crosswise, and a telescopic space is reserved between the latch steel plates and the side face of the end steel plate opposite to the latch steel plates; and profiled steel plates are arranged at the ends of the latch steel plates located in the telescopic space except for the top telescopic space. According to the waterproof expansion joint structure, the two end steel plates are each provided withthe latch steel plates at intervals; the latch steel plates on the both sides are inserted crosswise, and the telescopic space is reserved; in case of deformation of the super-long underground structure due to thermal expansion and contraction, the latch steel plates can be staggered mutually for offsetting the deformation of the super-long underground structure, and temperature stress is avoided,so that formation of temperature cracks is avoided; and meanwhile digging of a precipitation well and long-time precipitation like arrangement of a post-cast strip are not required, and the cost is low.
