The knife switch is advantaged in that the reducing pipe and a warning block are matched for use,during closing, the knife switch is rotated rightwards, the knife switch downwards extrudes a second piston rod, under the action of the hydraulic principle of the reducing pipe, the first piston rodmoves upwards and pushes a lever, the first spring is stretched, a warning block rotates and is received in the switch base, when power failure occurs, the first spring drives the lever to rotate anddrives the first piston rod to move downwards, the warning block rotates out of the brake base to prompt that an electric brake is not switched on, and thereby the warning effect is achieved, maintenance personnel can visually know a state of the electric brake conveniently, and the labor amount is reduced.
