Abstract

The invention relates to the field of mechanical design theories and methods, in particular to an AHP-based mechanical device design and model selection method. Experimental data is analyzed obtainedin an existing literature, and a relation matrix of various types of all parts of mechanical devices with respect to performance indexes of the mechanical devices is constructed. According to each user demand, a value is assigned to the judgment matrix of the performance index of the corresponding mechanical device, and a performance index attribute weight under each user demand is solved by using the AHP. A similarity calculation formula of a performance index relation matrix of each part obtained based on the experimental data and a performance index attribute weight matrix solved by the AHP is derived, and a model selection scheme which most conforms to user requirements is obtained through comparison. Subjective selection is converted into quantitative analysis, accurate model selection of multiple parts and various types of complex mechanical devices can be achieved at the initial stage of design, and a quantitative evaluation method is provided for design of the complex multifunctional mechanical devices.
