The grating-assisted polarizer comprises a substrate, a grating strip waveguide and two mixed plasma waveguides with the same structure, wherein the grating strip waveguide and the two mixed plasma waveguides with the same structure are arranged on the substrate; the two mixed plasma waveguides with the same structure are symmetrically positioned on two sides of the grating strip waveguide, and each of the two mixed plasma waveguides comprises a metal covering layer, a silicon dioxide layer and a silicon waveguide layer from top to bottom; the thickness of the grating strip waveguide is the same as the thickness of the silicon waveguide layer; grating teeth are formed on the two side faces, facing the mixed plasma waveguides, of the grating strip waveguide respectively; and the grating teeth on the two side faces have a displacement difference of half a cycle.
