Embodiment Construction

[0026] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments, but not as a limitation of the present invention.

[0027] see figure 1 As shown, the rapid automatic plan design system for rectal cancer radiotherapy based on the patient plan library of the present invention includes a patient plan library 1 (Plan atlas), a similar patient retrieval module 2, a plan field deformation module 3 and a plan fine-tuning module 4, and the patient plan Library 1 contains patient anatomy and corresponding treatment planning data. Select high-quality rectal cancer cases that have been approved by radiologists for clinical treatment to construct a patient plan library1. Each case in the planning library contains anatomical information and planning information. The anatomical information is the planning target volume (PTV) of each case, the three-dimensional (3D) of the left femoral head, right femoral head and bladder ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a rapid automatic plan design system for rectal cancer radiotherapy based on a patient plan library. The rapid automatic plan design system comprises the patient plan library,a similar patient retrieval module, a planned radiation field deformation module and a plan fine adjustment module. The patient plan library comprises patient anatomy data and corresponding treatmentplan data; the similar patient retrieval module is used for retrieving searching for a case with a target area most similar to a current target area from the patient plan library by applying a similarcase retrieval function after the current target area and endangered organs of a new patient are drawn; the planned radiation field deformation module deforms a radiation field aperture shape formedby a multi-leaf collimator matched with the patient through a deformation algorithm, so a new deformation plan is generated for the new patient; and the plan fine adjustment module generates a final treatment plan output based on the deformation plan. According to the method, the planning quality is basically close to the target area conformity and uniformity of pinnacle automatic planning; and interms of normal tissue protection, dose protection on the bladder, the left femoral head and the right femoral head is not different from dose protection of the pinnacle automatic planning.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of oncology radiotherapy computer-aided technology, in particular to a fast automatic plan design system for rectal cancer radiotherapy based on a patient plan database. Background technique [0002] Rectal cancer is one of the common digestive tract tumors, and radiotherapy is one of the conventional treatment methods for rectal cancer. The existing radiation therapy planning system (Treatment planning system, TPS) can carry out intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) plan design, helping plan designers to optimize the dose distribution, make it conform to the target area and protect normal tissues . In IMRT treatment, the quality of the treatment plan has a direct impact on the prognosis of radiotherapy, and the quality of the plan is highly dependent on the experience level of the planner. In addition, traditional IMRT plan design optimization is a process of repeated optimization iterations, and the efficie...
