Abstract

An ultrasonic wave output device according to an aspect of the present invention is provided with: at least one ultrasonic wave output part (10); a horn (30); and holding parts (20A, 20B, 20C). Said at least one ultrasonic wave output part (10) is configured so as to output an ultrasonic wave based on an input signal from a sound wave output surface (10A) toward a preset advancing direction. The horn is configured to surround a space, on the advancing direction side, of said at least one ultrasonic wave output part, so that the surrounded space becomes larger toward the advancing direction side. The holding parts are disposed between the ultrasonic wave output part and the horn, are made of a material softer than that of the ultrasonic wave output part, and are configured so as to hold theultrasonic wave output part in a state where the outer edge (10C) of the sound wave output surface is not bound.
