The transferring mechanism comprises a support, a swing assembly installed on the support, a rotary driving assembly installed on the support and a taking assembly connected with the swing assembly; and the swing assembly comprises a first synchronizing piece fixed to the support, a rotating shaft rotationally arranged in the first synchronizing piece in a penetrating mode, a swing arm connected with the rotating shaft, a second synchronizing piece rotationally connected with the movable end of the swing arm and a transmission piece. In the swinging process of the swing arm, the transmission piece is used for generating transmission between the first synchronizing piece and the second synchronizing piece and adjusting the angle of the second synchronizing piece relative to the swing arm; the rotary driving assembly is used for driving the rotating shaft to rotate relative to the first synchronizing piece; and the taking assembly is connected with the second synchronizing piece. According to the transferring mechanism and the material transferring system, a taking point and a placing point of materials are positioned in the swinging range of the swing arm or the moving range of the taking assembly, so that driving force required for transferring the materials is provided through utilizing the single rotary driving assembly, and accordingly control complexity in the transferring process is reduced.
