Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for removing moire patterns, and relates to the field of artificial intelligence and computer vision. The method comprises the steps of performing wavelettransform on a to-be-processed image to obtain a first wavelet image; removing moire patterns from the first wavelet image to obtain a second wavelet image; and performing wavelet inverse transformation on the second wavelet image to obtain a restored image of the to-be-processed image. According to the method, the moire patterns on the to-be-processed image are decomposed to the wavelet images with different frequencies through wavelet transform, and then moire pattern removal processing is performed on each wavelet image, so that the moire patterns with different frequencies can be removed,and therefore, compared with the prior art, the moire patterns can be removed more effectively, and the loss of original details of the image can be reduced.
