Abstract

The invention discloses a mountain torrent early warning method considering rainfall spatial heterogeneity, and belongs to the field of hydrological forecasting. The method comprises the steps that: the soil saturation and composite rainfall in a set time period before the occurrence of multiple historical flood peaks of a to-be-warned drainage basin are obtained, wherein the composite rainfall considers both rainfall capacity and rainfall space distribution; a mountain torrent early warning model is constructed according to the soil saturation and the composite rainfall; the soil saturation of the to-be-warned drainage basin is collected, a critical composite rainfall index corresponding to the current soil saturation is obtained according to the mountain torrent early warning model, andthe current composite rainfall of the to-be-warned drainage basin is compared with the critical composite rainfall index, so that whether the flood generated by rainfall is an over-warning flood or not can be judged. According to the method, the non-uniformity of rainfall spatial distribution and a rainstorm center distribution condition can be specifically quantified; the calculated critical composite rainfall index considers both the rainfall capacity and the rainfall spatial distribution, and thus the precision of mountain torrent early warning can be improved.
