Abstract

The invention discloses a TMD vibration damper for an ultrahigh wind turbine generator stand column. The TMD vibration damper comprises four sets of top supports, a mass ring, wire rope vibration isolators, dampers, a tool support and the like. Each set of top supports includes the two top supports. The top supports are uniformly distributed on the periphery of the outer portion of a stand columnand used for fixing and suspending mass blocks. Lifting lugs are welded to the upper portion of the mass ring so that the mass blocks can be suspended more conveniently and safely through wire ropes.The TMD vibration damper is provided with the four viscose dampers which are uniformly distributed above the corresponding wire rope vibration isolators. Each viscose damper and a corresponding springsupport share a base plate and can achieve the effect of dissipating energy. When the tower type stand column sways due to external excitation, the mass ring can do motion opposite to the structure all the time and generate counter-acting force to be acted on the main structure through the design of annular machines ring TMDs so as to control vibration of the structure no matter how to sway in any direction. The TMD vibration damper achieves the purposes of energy dissipation and vibration reduction through the viscose dampers.
