In the embodiment of the invention, the quantum dot purification waste liquid is distilled, so that azeotrope formed by alkane and alcohol in the distillation process can be distilled out together, and then the mixed solution of alkane and alcohol can be directly used for subsequent purification of quantum dots. Compared with the prior art that alkane and alcohol are separated out respectively, the mixed solution of alkane and alcohol can be directly separated out together, and the mixed solution of alkane and alcohol is used for subsequent purification ofquantum dots.
