Abstract

The invention discloses an electric connector and a manufacturing method thereof. The electric connector comprises an insulating body, a conductive terminal, a locking fastener and a shell, wherein the insulating body comprises a first insulator and a second insulator, the first insulator is formed to the first row of terminals, the second row of terminals and the locking fastener through injection molding to form an integrated insert, and the second insulator is formed to the integrated insert through injection molding. The insulation body of the electric connector can be formed through two times of injection molding, and therefore the electric connector is simple in structure, small in injection molding frequency and simple in manufacturing process and technology.
