A reliability modeling analysis method for a complex constellation system comprises the following steps: (1) determining a reliability criterion of the constellation system according to task requirements of the constellation system; (2) selecting one constellation configuration from a plurality of constellation configurations; (3) for the selected constellation configuration, determining a backupsatellite configuration scheme of the constellation system, and establishing a reliability model of the constellation system according to the constellation system task simulation model and the reliability criterion; (4) repeating the step (3) to sequentially establish a constellation system reliability model of each constellation configuration; and (5) utilizing the constellation system reliability model of each constellation configuration to obtain a change curve of the constellation reliability along with the reliability of a single satellite, and determining the constellation configurationwith the optimal system reliability according to the change curve.
