Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for controlling operation of a suspended monorail train by adopting a virtual moving block, and relates to the field of urban rail transit. The method comprises the following steps: calculating safety positioning information of a train according to absolute positioning provided by trackside equipment for positioning in combination with a processing period, a speed transmission error and a preset virtual moving block; calculating a travel route according to the received running destination in combination with the preset virtual moving block; and according to the safety positioning information and the running path, calculating running movement authorization of the train in real time, and according to the running movement authorization, the line speed limit and the temporary speed limit, controlling the train to run. The road condition is simulated by setting the virtual moving block in the electronic map, actual trackside equipment is not needed, the construction cost and the maintenance cost of engineering are reduced, the utilization rate of a line can be brought into play to the maximum extent, and the influence of aloft work is avoided.
