Abstract

The invention relates to entry license control. A system for entry license control is configured to monitor an individual (1) in an entry area (100) including an access (110) of a restricted area. The system performs a monitoring method to achieve a seamless access experience of an individual (1). The system receives a digital image stream of the entry area (100) and processes the received digital image stream to detect a machine readable code (MRC) that can be displayed on an access license (10) carried by the individual (1) in the entry area (100). The system also tracks a location of the MRC (12) within the entry area (100) based on the received digital image stream, initiates verification of the MRC (12), and provides a visual indication (14) of a result of the verification on at least one of the entry license (10) and the individual (1) in accordance with the verification and the data location resulting from the tracking.
