Abstract

An injection pen comprises a cartridge 2, a dose selector housing 10 and a nut 18 for coupling the two housings 2, 10 together. The dose selector housing 10 defines an intermediate axial position in which the nut 18 may be temporarily retained in the dose selector housing 10 to form a subassembly suitable for transport to different positions. During the final assembly of the injection pen, the cartridge 2 is securely engaged with the nut 18 and moves the nut 18 from the intermediate axial position to the final axial position.
