The composite vibration isolator comprises a cylindrical outer cover shell, an upper-layer vibration isolation structure and a lower-layer vibration isolation structure, wherein the upper-layer vibration isolation structure and the lower-layer vibration isolation structure are arranged in the outer cover shell; and the upper-layer vibration isolation structure comprises a fixed upper shell, a plurality of bolts arranged on the fixed upper shell in an array manner and metal rubber elements arranged on the bolts in a penetrating manner, and the lower-layer vibration isolation structure comprises a fixed lower shell, a base and a lower-layer high-damping material layer located between the fixed lower shell and the base. The metal rubber element is tightly pressed between the fixed lower shell and the fixed upper shell, a load-bearing spring pre-pressed between the fixed lower shell and the fixed upper shell is arranged in the middle between the fixed lower shell and the fixed upper shell, and the upper part of the fixed upper shell extends out of an upper opening of the outer cover shell and is connected with a load-bearing plate and an upper-layer high-damping material layer which are stacked; and according to the composite vibration isolator, the defect that a metal vibration isolator is poor in low-frequency vibration absorption performance is overcome, meanwhile, absorption of horizontal vibration is enhanced, and the impact resistance is improved.
