The webpage refreshing method comprises the following steps: receiving a webpage refreshing request; judging whether the browser is provided with a negotiation cache or not; if yes, judging whether the refreshing request hits a view hierarchy cache or not, wherein the view hierarchical cache comprises at least three layers; and if the refreshing request contains the view hierarchical cache, returning the view hierarchical cache corresponding to the refreshing request, so that the browser refreshes a webpage by utilizing the view hierarchical cache. When webpage refreshing is executed, whether the browser is provided with the negotiation cache or not is judged firstly. When a browser sets a negotiation cache, a server side can return a view hierarchy cache corresponding to a refreshing request, and all data of a webpage does not need to be returned; therefore, the transmission of repeated hierarchical traffic is saved, the browser cache is fully utilized, and the page can be quickly generated; besides, webpage loading time is shortened, and the comfort of browsing the webpage by the user is enhanced.
