Abstract

When an in-vitro culture solution added with melatonin is used for culturing the bovine follicular granule cells, the melatonin can inhibit synthesis of progesterone of the bovine follicular granulosa cells. Melatonin is used as an endocrine regulation factor of the bovine ovarian function, and the adrenocorticotropin (ACTH) is inhibited by down-regulating the synthesis of steroid hormone, so that the granulosa cell differentiation is delayed.
