Abstract

The invention discloses a target tracking method based on a binocular camera and a related device. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a video frame of a target object by adopting the binocular camera; performing section processing on a preset target three-dimensional model according to the video frame to obtain a target object mask, the preset target three-dimensional model being a three-dimensional model corresponding to the target object; extracting operation corner point parameters of the target object through the target object mask; and performing real-time target tracking on the target object by adopting a preset sparse optical flow method according to the operation angular point parameters. The target tracking method and device solve the technical problems that an existing target tracking technology is prone to being affected by environment changes, and consequently tracking stability and accuracy are poor.
