Abstract

The invention discloses a fault positioning method, device and system, and belongs to the field of optical communication. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the position of a fault point on optical network equipment in a monitoring link; determining a device identifier of the fault point based on the position of the fault point in the monitoring link and a corresponding relation between the position and the device identifier; wherein the optical network equipment comprises a back plate and at least two single plates, and the corresponding relationship between the position and the device identifier is established based on at least two reference links determined by changing the connection relationship between the at least two single plates in the optical network equipment and the back plate. The at least two reference links comprise at least part of links of the monitoring link. The method and the device are used for positioning the fault point of the check link on the optical network equipment.
